Bristol Parks Commissioner and award-winning quilter Jane Tedrow has created a magnificent quilt, and it could be yours! Entitled "Scrappy Ocean Blue Cabins", the quilt features rich hues of royal blue set upon a pale yellow background. It measures 84 inches by 98 inches, which makes it perfect for a Queen-sized bed. Jane constructed this traditional "Round Log Cabin" design; professional quilting was done by Millicent Young. Click on the image below for a bigger picture.

Proceeds from the raffle will help us equip the new Learning Center at Pemaquid Point Lighthouse Park, and provide funding for the various programs we'll be offering, starting this summer.

The drawing for this quilt will be held on December 1, 2009. Ticket holders don't have to be present to win. Raffle tickets are $1.00 each, or $5.00 for a booklet of six tickets. Tickets will be available at Bristol Town Meeting, Tuesday, March 17, 2009. They will also be available at Pemaquid Beach Park and Pemaquid Point Lighthouse Park this summer.
